Clark watches as Lex strides out the door and continues watching as his friend takes off in a cloud of dust.
He had really learned a lot this morning and not just about the skink either. He’d learned that Lex was a true friend, he’d learned that he was really important to Lex, and, most importantly, he’d learned that Lex was attracted to him.
Clark knew he was innocent in fact, but many people mistakenly believed that he was as innocent in knowledge as well. That was impossible with debates on artificial insemination for their cows versus having them serviced by a bull as a regular part of his family’s dinner conversation. They’d done both over the years too, and he’d even observed both processes several times. Not to mention the fact that he was a guy just like Lex. He’d known exactly what he’d felt when Lex’s lower body had brushed his leg.
Clark shifts uncomfortably as his towel starts to really tent out. He's lucky that didn't happen so obviously when Lex had been here. His body had still been trying to recover from the fear he’d felt over the earlier incident. His body had reacted a little to Lex’s closeness, but he’d been able to keep Lex from discovering it.
There’s a lot to be said for being so strong that you can shift a person’s body however you want. Clark realizes too late what he’d just thought, and he can’t stop the images that come to his mind as a result, any more than he can stop his body’s reaction to them. Great, now he needed another shower. First a cow bumps him and he takes a nose dive into the pile of manure and now this. Of course, this was a much more pleasurable reason for needing a shower. At this rate though, he was going to run the well dry.
He forces himself to push away from the doorframe. Lex is gone and he has things to do if he's going to be ready to see his friend at noon. He has to clean himself up, the poor lizard needs to be buried in the backyard, and he still has to finish the chores.
Of course, all of that will only take ten to fifteen minutes at most. The thing that’s going to take the most time is the searches he has to do on the internet. He isn’t going to be looking up skinks either. Nope. He's after something much more interesting. Clark really needs to find out what men like to do together, and he also needs some ideas on how to seduce a man like Lex Luthor. Considering his lack of luck in the romance department so far, he really hopes the internet can help him.
