He didn’t want to think about it right now, or analyze it to death, because he knew he’d wind up feeling guilty about something, and he wanted to enjoy this feeling as long as he could.
I had to laugh at the bit about feeling guilty, because that does seem to be a huge part of Clark's mind set. Glad he let himself savour the moment.
