"Brothers": a What If? fic...

old_school_clexTitle: currently still on a working title. For now, we'll call it "Brothers".

Section: 1 of ?
Pairing: CLEX, duh. Is there any other? (Shut up, y'all! There so isn't!)
Rating: I'm pretty sure this one's going to get to at least NC-17...but since we're starting at the beginning, with a rewrite of the truck-cab scene and it will be a babyfic for who knows how long, I think we're all safe at G for at least the first five chapters or so.
Word Count: I have no earthly clue. First bit here is at about 2030.
Summary: What if the Old Bastard died in the meteor shower? What if the Kents found Lex anyway? What would change? Would Lillian ever find out what happened to him, or would the Kents keep him? Either way, they'd likely remain friends. How differently would things end up, with the Kents' influence in Lex's life from childhood? How would it affect the Lex/Clark relationship and both boys' development, if they were friends who shared the BDS (big damn secret) from the start?
And so on. (God, i've been dying to do this for forever!)
