This episode inspired me to write my second ever Smallville fic because I was annoyed at Clark in this episode. Five seasons later and not a lot has changed ;)

Seriously though, I was probably a litle over-harsh with Clark on this one. Yes, he knocked out his best friend and didn't even seem sorry he'd done it. But he did get brutally beaten and thrown in a fire so I guess I can forgive him
