Fandom Recs: Food Fics

old_school_clexThe Old School Poll is still running - feel free to drop by and vote if you haven't yet. I love the response so far - glad to see so many people still interested in Clex!
We'll start with a Fandom Rec post. This one will be around the theme of "Food". Food as in a food-fight, food as an aphrodisiac, food as a backdrop (dinner, lunch, etc while the story takes place), fics in a food-establishment (restaurants, coffee-house, etc), food used for... recreational purposes in the fic, and so on. :) If a fic has food in it, in any way related to the fic, please rec it!
Fics should be Clexy, though it can be gen and friendship as well as established or new. They should be Old School, where the canon of the story is seasons 1-3. (The fics can be future fics, as long as the canon is still Old School.) AUs are also welcome if they capture that Old School feel. Why Read It: It's a wonderful fic that will stay with you. Good writing, hot Clex, and gentle and sweet too. I love the initial premise, and the author keeps true to the characters.

Why Read It: This is a really wonderful sweet and funny feel-good story. It's an AU where Lex walks away from his father... and meets Clark at the coffee shop. That's where the food part comes in for the rec. ;D Not much more to the food, but the coffee shop meetings are very important for the Clex in the story. I love reading and rereading this lovely fic.
