The boys are in the Ultimate Slash Madness Tourney - Round One!

They are up against a show called community (dont know it I'm afraid) they are wining so far but not by much. We cant let Clark and Lex go out on the first round guys so hop on over and vote. You can vote as often as you want :)

The Community fans have been out in force today and overtook Clex a few hours ago. Clex has just crept back into the lead but it's very close! We need Clexers to keep voting!

Yep when I checked yesterday Clex was about 4 thousand ahead now this... We cant let them go out on the first round :(

Trouble is fandom has a very short memory and all the current shows have people voting madly for them. We have to rely on nostalgia!

Note: due to very apparent "mechanized" voter activity, we have had to limit voting in bracket 11 to one vote per hour per user. (If you try voting more often than that you'll get a message that your vote has already been recorded.) Apologies, but this was the only way to preserve the integrity of the poll.

Unfortunately, the Community community managed to get a 4000 vote lead on us before the crackdown was put in place, so its going to take a lot of Clexers to chip in and overcome that lead.

Yep if you look at the votes on the SPN poll about 500 thousand or so its not a surprise they thought something was a bit off *g*

We were so far ahead yesterday morning :( But we can do it we can get the boys back up there.

Just need to get them in front and keep an eye out until Friday to make sure they dont fall behind at the last minute.

Okay, they've now changed it so all brackets are under the one vote per hour per IP address limit. So you can still vote multiple times, you just have to wait an hour inbetween or use a different IP address (like, home computer versus work). This may also cause problems for you if you share an IP with other people in your household who are voting. If you vote again before the hour is up it resets the clock on the cookie and you have to wait another hour after the most recent attempt. Each bracket is separate, so you can vote for Clex and then pop over to a different pairing and that shouldn't affect your Clex countdown.

There's a lot of activity in our bracket! Our total vote count is much higher than some other pairings I would consider more popular and active currently. Those of us who have stuck it out in the fandom and are still Clexers are very very loyal. And I trust we're running a clean campaign; in an election Lex wants to win because the populace actually supports him. If he were taking over the world flat-out there would be no election. ;)

When it says the poll closes at midnight on Friday, is that the midnight at the beginning of Friday or the one at the end of Friday? On other words, do we have a few hours to vote or a few hours + a day?
