What's to come

Only 2 people said they would participate in my Meta Month idea so I have scrapped that one.

I have had a new idea (it's strange what pops into my head just as I fall asleep. LOL).

I've been having a lot of fun writing weekly 'missing scene' snippets from the Season 7 episodes and I thought it might be fun to do something similar for the earlier episode.

Essentially what would happen is I would name an episode on Monday (probably doing them in chronological order but I'm open to suggestions) and then you will have a week to post a snippet/ficlet/fic for that episode. It doesn't have to be anything huge. All of mine have been less than 1000 words. Whatever you feel comfortable with.

I'm also taking suggestions for the next fiction challenge if anyone has any ideas.

I'm sorry, but I really don't do snippets well - I didn't even get a Tuesday triple out yesterday, although I tried.

I'm a reader not a writer, but I might try it some time. The only writing I have done is writing filks and an occasional poem...oh, and one intentional badfic - which was spectacularly bad, if I may say so myself!

I'm not sure I'd remember the plot of the episode, it's been so long, LOL.

I could try. How about a Thanksgiving or cold weather challenge? I love snow fics in this universe.

Is there a way that people can view the episode or scene before they write?

I'm just thinking that some people *cough*me*cough* may not have seen or remember the earlier episode. If there was someway to refresh their memory before they wrote the ficlet, that would be great.

Well, I'm going to post a synopsis each week and there is a week to post each snippet so that's plenty of time to watch the episode if you have the DVDs :)
