Fic challenge

Ok, people seem quite keen on a fic challenge for this community so I'll look at getting something set up in the coming weeks. First of all a couple of follow-up questions

Would you prefer a ficathon type event where everyone makes a request and I assign them to participants or would you prefer a prompt list where participants can choose what they want to write?

The other question is do you want to vote on the fics which are entered or just have them posted for fun?

i've only written one fanfic that went public, and i found the voting process bruising. just-for-fun is always better for someone with my temperament.
