I think that's the only way they could retcon Lionel and the factory and screw it up more than this season has. Stupid Veritas sign mysteriously appearing in the L shields.... :(

Personally, I kept waiting for someone to say that Clark was not Lionel's son, but a very healthy young African-Amercian boy. ;)

LOL, did you ever read that old fic, where the blood test really said, Pete was Lionel son, and since he gave that blood to clark, clark ended up being a luthor?
and pete fainted everytime, clark mentioned that he as the one, who was a luthor?!
