A newbie in the fandom looking for fics

Hi, I've got hooked on Clex about a week ago (very surprising considering all of my other fandoms ^_^) and now I'd like to find some good fics.

I'm looking for some nice multi parts (or single parts no shorter than 15k words) with at least some resemblance of plot (preferably a nice developed plot), good character development, relationship development from zero (meaning non-slash) to a strong one (maybe with some issues, maybe with a lot of issues but loving and trusting), with Clark telling Lex his 'secret' at some point, with a happy ending. And preferably not too fluffy ^_^ Angst, darkness and even gore is OK if the ending is still happy.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me. Thanks in advance ^___^

Did you read Lanning Cook's stuff yet? Her Identical Series () is one of the fandom classics. It's unfinished, but doesn't stop on a cliff hanger.

Also the Manual Transmission Series (also still ongoing) and The Happening Series by bipolypesca (http://bipolypesca.org/).

While your at danceswithclex , don't forget to check out "Omia", "Blood Sports", "Lex Luthor - Ace Reporter", and "Desire shall fail".

I would consider these all classics, they are all AU but capture the characters beautifully. They are also well written, fully developed, and make you want to keep reading them until they are done, no matter how late it is when you get started. ;)

Anyway, I'm italian and I had written the most read italian Clex fiction on web!!
people said thatit's one of the best ff they've ever read, better than the show and so thrilling.
it looks perfectly like you want your stories, and, thought I don't know if it's indeed so good, I almost finished to translate it, so I'll post the link for you as soon as I can.

You will find out that the Clex fandom is one of the most loved and longlasting in the web, if not the most popular.

Okay ^_^ Too bad I don't know Italian, I like reading things in original language. There are always too many things lost in translation, even if it's professional, and a lot more when it's not (my native language is Russian, so I know).

I don't know about the most popular (curses Narutards with all might, sniffs at Harry/Draco), but I'll bet it's at least one of the oldest (Superman being 30 years older than the official first slash fandom, Star Trek, I doubt the fangirls took too long to notice the potential *grin*).

Anyway, take your time translating. I'd be glad to read your fic when you're finished, but for now I have enough fiction for at least a month, and a couple rabid plot bunnies dancing around in my head ^_^
